Meet Hearthwind — the new name for our fantasy idle RPG

RavenWolf's fantasy idle RPG is now called Hearthwind, named for the hometown at the heart of the player's adventure. The existing gameplay remains unchanged.

RavenWolf has chosen a new name for its fantasy idle RPG. The project previously known as Verdantwake: Idle Frontiers is now Hearthwind, named after the town where your journey begins and the place you'll return to throughout your adventures.

The core game is not being rebuilt or replaced. The playable Windows development build already brings together the Hearthwind hub, character customization, class choices, combat, gathering, crafting, equipment progression and Frontiers. We're continuing to refine the character artwork and presentation while preserving the current gameplay.

Our longer-term vision is for Hearthwind to grow as players progress, with more townsfolk, workshops and services. Future settlements beyond Hearthwind may offer their own quests, resources and specialties. These are plans for later development rather than features we're claiming are already playable.

Hearthwind remains in development for Windows PC. Steam Early Access is planned, but no public release date, price, verified Steam store URL or public Discord invitation has been announced. Follow RavenWolf's official development journal for future updates.
